I’m studying for my Business class and don’t understand how to answer this. Can you help me study?

Objectives

• assess the relative strengths and weaknesses of a successful business;
• identify the opportunities of a company within its industry; and
• identify potential threats to a company from a variety of sources and circumstances.

Instructions

Discuss the company with your Professor at the end of Unit 2.

1. Prepare a report that includes:

a. The background to the company and its situation and relevance to the industry (or industries) it is associated with.

b. A SWOT analysis of the company, indicating its strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities it has going for it, and any threats facing it.

2. A SWOT template will be provided to students for this report. They will fill-in the template under the supervision of the professor.

3. A minimum of two academic references should be included from the Yorkville University Library databases.

Evaluation

Business Research Report: 2 SWOT Analysis will be marked in its entirety out of 100. The following rubric indicates the criteria students are to adhere to, and their relative weights to the assignment overall.
