Write about Touched by an Angel by Maya Angelou and 1-2 Elements of Fiction. Write a three to four page essay describing how setting, point of view, theme, plot, symbolism, imagery, language, and/ or character are used in the poem. Research the author of the poem you selected. From the knowledge you gained from reading about the author, proffer an opinion about how the author makes use of the Elements of Fiction in the poem. Examine how the sources describe and explain the author’s perspective and what the Elements of fiction say about the author and the author’s use of the Elements of Fiction in the poem. Your essay is worth up to [50 points] of your final course grade. Your essay should be 3-4 double-spaced pages) using APA. Include a sentence that states the purpose of your essay. Explain your thoughts clearly, and make connections between your main points and your supporting details in each supporting paragraph.
