Some of the changes are focused on improving protocols or increases one’s knowledge on the different types of chemotherapies and leukemic changes as it relates to our patient population. Nurses are the largest group of healthcare providers globally and therefore have a key role in ensuring the promotion and delivery of quality healthcare and services.
EBP can lead to enhanced quality of patient care, reduced costs, improved patient and family satisfaction, individual and professional development of nurses, enhanced organizational performance and changed outcomes. It’s important as an oncology nurse to keep up with all educational and teaching course related to the changes in chemotherapies and treatment options.
