Observer Evaluation

This evaluation has been designed to assist students in the management communication course to evaluate their communication skills and abilities. A major part of improving communication is to solicit and receive feedback from others about our communication skills. This evaluation will be used by the student in a course final project assignment worth 25% of his/her grade. Thus, you must be honest and thoughtful in your feedback on this form. There are no right or wrong, good or bad assessments; there is simply your perception of the student’s communication skills. This assessment is valuable information for the student. The student has chosen you to provide this feedback because he/she believes you know them well enough and have sufficient contact with him/her to provide valuable feedback.

The answer for each set of descriptions is the response that you think most closely describes your perception of the student’s communication skills on a scale from 1-10 with 1 being none of the time, 5 being 50% of the time, and 10 being all of the time. Please include any comments about a particular question that would provide further feedback to the student. If you do not know or have not observed a particular behaviour, do not mark a number but indicate N/A in the comment area. As much as possible attempt to provide some feedback.
